Smart Buildings Exchange (SBX) Conference

The Smart Buildings Center is hosting the free Smart Buildings Exchange (SBX) Conference, joined by event title sponsor Microsoft. SBX 2021 will focus on opportunities for technologies and practices to improve operations for commercial and institutional buildings.

The conference will kick off with a moderated panel discussion featuring chief executives of electric utilities and experts from the Rocky Mountain Institute and Microsoft. Following this plenary session, conference attendees can choose between sessions that range from grid-interactive efficient buildings (GEBs) to the role of artificial intelligence (AI) to challenges in workforce skills development.

Attendees can also dive into a virtual digital twin building tour, featuring the 2.1 million square foot One Manhattan West building in New York N.Y., to explore how technology is being used to optimize costs and operations on an ongoing basis.

The virtual event platform will also provide a chance to meet sponsors in special breakout rooms and to communicate one-on-one with fellow attendees.
